The Tower
|
| For whatever reason, there was a period of several years during which I was fascinated with this tower. I've photographed it a number of times. As in the view of it in Guardian, the Celestial Equator passes diagonally upward from the right side of the sky behind the second and third windows from the bottom. Above this demarcation the stars curve upward around the North Star (out of view); below it they curve downward around the southern polar axis beneath the horizon. |
