| In a half-hour exposure, the camera sees something much different from that which the bystander sees. Stars travel and light painted on the scene by hand leaves its mark. Note the Celestial Equator passing diagonally from the bottom right corner to behind the tower at the top of the lowest window. Above it the stars curve upward, below it they curve downward.
